Story of My Life

Hello World
I was born in a simple family in a village in Tuban, East Java, Indonesia. I am the third of three children, all boys. My father is a hard worker and so is my mother. Since childhood, I have loved to draw and my whole family realized that.

Establishment of Religious Values
I went to elementary school in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Huda in Bandungrowo, Kedungsoko, Plumpang, Tuban. There I learned the basics of Islamic religion, general knowledge and local culture.

First time I was contact with a Computer
I continued my junior high school at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri MODEL Babat, Lamongan. Where at that time the school was a favorite school, there were classes ranging from A to I, where each class had around 30 and 40 students. I just found out that there was a "Excellent Class" program, namely classes A and B, where the class had some academic advantages compared to the regular class, at that time I was in 7D class (regular class). At the grade promotion, there is a selection to enter the "Excellent Class" and I enter the "Excellent Class" and survive until graduation.

First time I know Digital Design
I continued my senior high school at Madrasah Aliyah Babat, Lamongan. Based on my experience during school at the previous level, I see many manipulative activities where students are more concerned with academic grades than values of education itself. In this high school I realized that soft skills also needed to be learned and I began to search for what my passion really was. On the other side, I am known as a computer lesson that there is software that can be used for drawing, namely Corel Draw and Photoshop. From there I started my interest in digital design.

Do not have a Computer, PC at the OSIS's Room is Okay
Because my desire to learn graphic design is so great while the time to practice computer is only once a week or fortnight in about 2 hours and I realized I did not have a computer. Because I am active in organizations and some extracurricular activities, I have many acquaintances, including children who are members of OSIS (intra-school student organization). I saw a PC in the student council room that was usually used by the student council board to make a proposal for an activity to be submitted to the school. Because I know that the computer is not used all the time, and Corel Draw 11 has also been installed. I have the courage to approach the student council and ask for permission to use the computer when not in use, and that's where I started honing my graphic design skills.

Realizing that Soft Skills are also Important
In high school I realized that soft skills also needed to be learned and I began to participate in a number of extracurricular activities, both self development and organizational. I joined the Theater Club, Sholawat Group, formed a Music Band and participated in the management of a Scouting Organization.

Joining the Theater Club
In high school, Honestly is a club that I really like, because I can sharpen my sense of art here, plus the family is very thick where people help each other, joke together and build each other up. I have been a number of times as an actor and crew in a theater performance in several places. I also participated in poetry musical competition.

Learn & Contribute to the Organization
In high school, I joined a scouting organization, or in Indonesia called Gerakan Pramuka. In my second year I became Pradana (Chairperson of the Organization) where I learned to organize, to manage the activities of managing the team and so on, all of which were very interesting.
Move to Malang City (The Students City)

Seriously Studying Graphic Design and Computer
I moved to the city of Malang, East Java, Indonesia and seriously participated in a one-year professional program majoring in Graphic Design & Computer. I go to Malang City with conditions that are so simple that there is no reason for me not to study seriously. I spend my days studying and practicing.

Only rely on Computer Labs
I go to Malang City with very simple conditions, even as a main tool for learning graphic design I don't have it yet. So I looked for a solution, finally I looked for information and finally I got information that a computer lab (in my study's place) can be used freely if it is not being used. Finally, I often spend time in the computer lab everyday just to study and practice using software design while the laboratory is still open.

Joining to a Photography Club
Although I didn't have a camera yet, my desire to study photography was so great I was determined to join a photography club called PIXEL. Surprisingly, because I was quite active in my second year I was appointed chairman of the club. The main activities of the photography club are photo hunting together, participating and attending photography exhibitions, workshops and photography gatherings.

Internship and Get to Know the Real World of Work
SAM Design is a design house that is quite large and quite experienced with awesome clients. A very interesting experience I was able to do an internship there. I was placed in Interactive Communication Division. I help create interactive media for clients using flash technology. I also made flash animations for the advertisements of several clients and was largely involved in making interactive media for the Annual Report of a national fertilizer company.

The Best Graduate
During graduation at Wearnes Education Center Malang in 2012 I got the title of best graduate from all majors in my generation that year. A pride because my parents were invited to the stage and received congratulations from Wearnes and all graduation invitations.

Become an Illustrator & 2D Animator
I created Flash-based interactive learning media for the discussion of school children 's materials from various levels such as mathematics, physics, chemistry etc. The details of my work cover at least two processes: the first, making 2-dimensional illustrations (characters, backgrounds and other supporting elements) and the second is moving the illustrations that were previously made to be more interactive with user-triggered animations (click, drag and so on).

First Salary
Because I did not have a vehicle while traveling in Malang and I only traveled by foot, took public transportation and just hitched a ride. I decided to use my first salary to buy a used mountain bike without brakes at a price of Rp. 135,000 in a used bicycle seller market in Malang. Furthermore, I always travel by bicycle.

Studying Design in the Printing Industry
I made designs for offset printing and digital printing. I did the technical setting of a design for printing needs. Here I learned a lot about the knowledge of graphic design for printing needs ranging from technical stuffs in software such as color and safe distance for cutting, various print media (paper, cloth, etc.). I learned also about the production process from pre-production to finishing.
Move to Surabaya City, Capital of East Java

Work in a Digital Agency
I manage clients' social media accounts and create content and campigns. I make various visual designs for printing and digital design needs. I designed the concept and visual branding (Logo Design) and the guidelines and their application. The most often I do or my specialty is creating responsive website design.

Taking a Programming Lecture
I studied majoring in informatics engineering. I study the algorithm and data structure, object-oriented programming style and mathematics as the basis of computer programming. I studied there with the Java programming language. Many theories learned there that let me know the reasons for the current technological developments that continue to develop.

First Time Working at StartUp
I am responsible for making the appearance of the Pinjam.co.id website with modern website technology (2017), improving the website's performance and keeping the development side organized and easy to develop better in the future.

The First Time I did the Design Sprint Workshop
I studied Design Sprint with Google Expert in Product Design, Borrys Hasian. Performed with the Pinjam.co.id team in Jakarta. I learned a lot about the stages of Design Sprint, from understanding problems, defining what can be done, making ideas, making prototypes to practicing usability testing of a digital product.

First Time Joining the Software Developer Community in Surabaya
I joined the software developer community in Surabaya because in my opinion learning in the community more casual and was immediately able to meet practitioners who were touching with the latest technology everyday. As well as the community can easily chat with practitioners in a casual style. I at least joined the Surabaya Dev community, "Facebook Developer Circles Surabaya" and Surabaya.py
Move to the Bali Island
